Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 August 2026
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using ClipdIn, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use ClipdIn.
Who we are
ClipdIn ("we", "us") is a service that helps climbers find each other. It is operated by a person based in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at contact@clipdin.com.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use ClipdIn. By using it, you confirm that you are at least 18.
Your account
You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, for keeping your Google sign in secure, and for the accuracy of the details you add. Please keep one account per person.
Acceptable use
Use ClipdIn respectfully and lawfully. In particular, don't:
- harass, threaten, or abuse other people, or post hateful content;
- impersonate anyone, or post someone else's private information;
- spam, advertise, or post sessions you don't genuinely intend to run;
- do anything illegal, or use ClipdIn to arrange anything illegal;
- scrape, disrupt, or try to break or misuse the service.
Your content
You keep ownership of the sessions, messages, and profile details you post. So we can run ClipdIn, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display that content to other users as part of the service. You are responsible for what you post, and you can remove it by deleting the content or your account.
Platform and assumption of risk
ClipdIn is an introduction service that helps climbers find each other. We do not organise, supervise, vet, or run background checks on users or sessions, and we do not verify anyone's skill, experience, or identity.
You are responsible for confirming a climbing partner's competency and for your own safety, indoors and outdoors. Climbing is inherently risky, and you take part in any session entirely at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, ClipdIn is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from sessions or introductions made through the service. Please meet in public, tell someone your plans, and use your judgement.
Safety and reporting
You can report or block other users from within the app. We may review reports and remove content or accounts, but we don't monitor everything and can't guarantee anyone's conduct. Reporting a problem doesn't replace your own judgement about your safety.
Third-party services
ClipdIn relies on third parties to operate, including Google for sign in and the providers listed in our Privacy Policy. Their own terms apply to the parts they provide.
Availability
ClipdIn is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, pause, or discontinue features, and we don't guarantee that the service will always be available or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranties about the service.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ClipdIn is not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, or for loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service or content posted by other users. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Termination
We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms. You can stop using ClipdIn and delete your account at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a significant change, we'll update the date above. Continued use of ClipdIn means you accept the changes.
