Just rode the new trail Saturday... where did that come from??? You guys work quick. Someone on the trail told me about this site - good job!! BTW - someone left a long handled pruning shear next to the trail. I assume one of you guys forgott it. (Looked like the expensive ones).

Hope to see you up there some time. I usually ride after work during the week.

Cheers

Vaughn, if that's the only tools you have seen along the trails in Tapia, you haven't been looking hard enough  grin

Thanks for the heads up, but I'm sure they know the loppers are still there.

Moved them last nite to another "super secret location".
The first oak tree coming up on the new trail "dog tag" if anyone needs them..
doh...not so secret anymore! Tom left a bunch of tools at the top of bee bypass on the right in the bushes. Rode Dog Tag last nite and it is soft at the top just after the open grass area. Need a little rain.
ALso G out needs some pruning and a small bridge just before the uphill section. It is crowned and narrow.
Let me know if anyone wants to build a small bridge and drag it out.
On another note I saw a Bobcat last nite on G out.

There are a few scattered tools around for people to use to maintain sections of the trail if they were so inclined..... I am looking to do some pruning and maintaining on five deer in the near future if anyone is available let me know. Also i have been climbing g-out recently and pulling some of the larger brush and over growth that has been developing if anyone is willing please do the same so we can keep it in top notch condition. Was thinking about that bridge Randy and I think we could fix it.... We might have to move the pipe that is underneath it to create a better wider line the other option is get a piece of 2x6 and 2x4 and place it to the high side where we put the branched that will keep the dirt from fallling through and give us a wider line

What about getting some old tires and bury them side by side, like 3 or 4 then put dirt over them.  that will give a way for any water flow and still support the dirt without rotting as quick as wood.  Just steal Randy's go cart tires off the Guppy those will work.
