It's been a couple years but the Super Bowl Sunday MTB "Chili" Ride will be back this year.
Sierra Pelona area is finally open! wav 
KT will be putting on the annual Super Bowl Sunday MTB "Chili"   blob8 Ride. Everybody is welcome & encouraged (tell your friends) to ride. You can ride fast or slow, your choice (or not). I will have hot Chili & beverages at the top of the good long climb. The tentative plan is Sierra Pelona to the top (just above the top of the fire road climb for Five Dear). Then descend the Rowher Ridge Trail then back to the fast & furiously fun section of fire road & then down the Bouquet Trail & back to the cars.
If anyone wants to help out either contributing with your own chili or drinks or any other food that would go with the chili, please let me know.

Just checked the 10 day forecast & it looks like rain  cry  for the Super Bowl weekend. As of now it's not looking too promising for the ride. I'll make a final decision in a few days.
