Do you really go down hill faster if you shuttle?

Wish I could make it. I'm still waiting for my fork and shock to come back from servicing at Fox. I was hoping to get them back today but it looks like they will not be here until Monday.

Have fun...

Rodney,
I have a couple of forks if you'd like to borrow one.

Dan,

Thanks, but I'm also missing my Float RL. Also, I volunteered for kid duty in the morning since I'm out of commission.

Have you ridden to Mt. Pinos yet this year? I'd like to try and ride Mt. Pinos this month. I'm looking at setting-up a ride for Sat 6/21. I'll post the ride and see if anyone is interested.

I'm definitely in on the next "big" ride.

Did Temecula kick your rear?  The Bike is tough but the run always kills me, and the heat this year had to be brutal   uglystupid2

Temecula was a humbling experience. I finshed 9th from last place but at least I finshed and it was only my second tri.

On race day they called no wetsuits so that was interesting since I really hadn't swam much.

The bike was cool but my fork had kind of went out 2 days before the race. I knew I was in trouble when "Caveman" came blowing past me on the 1st long climb (this was his second loop).

Started the run after about 3 hrs. in the saddle and I had to hike at bit. Got my legs on the 2nd loop and finshed in 5:04. People were dropping like flys and I was just trying not to blow-up and finish the race.

I was a little bummed until I looked at the results and saw that about 50 people DNF the race. Most look like they dropped out on the bike. I saw a lot of people being taken off the course with road rash and tacod tires.

I loved it so much I'm thinking about doing the Sport race in Oct. up in Nevada before the National Championships. If not I have to go back and better my time next year. It should'nt be that hard.
