Lower Merrill/Sunset/El Prieto
« on: October 31, 2005, 02:09:18 PM »

Lower Merrill is in its usual pristine groomed every day shape.
One of the cleanest ST climbs you'll ever find!
Sunset Trail was great fun technical down.  More bombers have been using it and it shows the wear, all that just adds to the technical challenge and a sweet challenge it is.  A few washout section have good repair but definite change to the trail.
Lower Sunset to Millard was again its usual clean smoking fast ST, trail was moist packed.  Just one spot of washout repair come as a suprise as you round a corner to the creek dip.
El Prieto is in Good shape and the trail repair is wearing into a good rythm.

Got to get out and do this one again...and this time remember to bring the Helmet Cam
