Tues 4:30pm SM Mtns

Gonna give this another shot.  Gonna ride 2 popular SM Mtn Brentwood trails:  Sullivan Canyon and Kenter Whoop-de-doos.  Meet 4:30pm at trailhead.  Less than 30min from SCV, as you're going against traffic.  Trailhead is at end of Dirt Muholland.  Use Google Maps to get to 34.128081,-118.502844, last 200 yrds is dirt road, best way is 405 South to Mulholland/Skirball.

Start at Dirt Mulholland.  Go west on fire road, then down Sullivan Canyon, 5mi twisty shaded singletrack with lots of variety.  Through residential neighborhood and up Westridge fire road back to Dirt Mulholland at Nike Missile site.  Turn right (east) back to parking area.  Then down Canyonback riding singletrack that criss-crosses the fire road.  Through Mountaingate gated community, down to Kenter Fire road, and onto the Whoop-de-doos trail.  If you've never done the Whoop-de-doos, it's like the Bouquet Jump Trail, but flatter and bigger jumps.  Can do this section 2 or 3 times.  When done, climb back up to parking area on Dirt Mulholland.  This will be about a 2-2.5hr ride.

To get to the trailhead, take 5 S, 405 S, Exit Mulholland.  The nearest cross streets to the parking area are Mulholland Dr & Encino Hills Dr.  24mi from Stevenson Ranch, less than 30min.  You'll be going against traffic on the way down, will have some on the way back home.  See you there!
