Sullivan / Kenter Whoops Sat 2pm

Gonna ride 2 popular SM Mtn Brentwood trails:  Sullivan Canyon and Kenter Whoop-de-doos.  Meet 2:00pm at trailhead or 1:15 at Towsley outer loop.  Trailhead is at end of Dirt Muholland.  Use Google Maps to get to 34.128081,-118.502844, last 200 yrds is dirt road, can access via either 101/Hayvenhurst or 405/Mulholland.

Start at Dirt Mulholland.  Go west on fire road, then down Sullivan Canyon, 5mi twisty shaded singletrack with lots of variety.  Through residential neighborhood and up Westridge fire road back to Dirt Mulholland at Nike Missile site.  Turn right (east) back to parking area.  Then down Canyonback riding singletrack that criss-crosses the fire road.  Through Mountaingate gated community, down to Kenter Fire road, and onto the Whoop-de-doos trail.  If you've never done the Whoop-de-doos, it's like the Bouquet Jump Trail, but flatter and bigger jumps.  Can do this 2 or 3 times.  When done, climb back up to parking area on Dirt Mulholland.  This will be about a 2.5hr ride with 3000 elevation gain.
