I think they are on different mountain ranges.  Los Robles is On the Sycamore Side and I think Los Arboles is on the North Range.

You need to show me how to do that...I am a newbie remember?
118 turns into 23- 3 exits or so before it hits the 101 exit at Avenida de los arboles. Turn right and go until it dead ends into Wildwood Park. There is a dirt lot at the end on the left side.
Can you meet me on Balboa so I dont have to drive back to SFR? Can we meet at 9am?

I think they are on different mountain ranges.  Los Robles is On the Sycamore Side and I think Los Arboles is on the North Range.

Just an FYI: Los Arboles is Wildwood Park, which is a mile or so north of the 101 freeway. It's almost more of a canyon in that it drops lower than most of the surrounding terrain.

If you get into traffic on the 23 you could get off at Olsen and turn right at the bottom of the ramp, which goes past Cal Lutheran Uni and then turns into Lynn Road as it bends from an east/west route into a north/south route. There will still be a bit of traffic as Olsen foes up the hill, but usually loosens up after it crosses Moorpark Road (a better option IMO than battling the 23 down to Los Arboles). It will then intersect Los Arboles where a right turn and another few hundred yards will put you at the trailhead where Los Arboles bends hard right.

How do I know this? I've been driving to Thousand Oaks every weekday morning for the past fourteen years  uglystupid2 .

They usually have some trail maps there as the trail system at Wildwood is a series of relatively short intersecting trails. It's a good thing you are going on a weekday IMO as on weekends the place gets pretty crowded with everything from hikers, mtb'ers and people jogging with baby strollers.

Los Robles is close by. It's due south from Wildwood Park and just the other side of the 101 freeway. The trail system sort of loosely parallels the 101 freeway in that it can be accessed from several points along the various offramps of the 101 freeway and eventually hooks up with the northeast end of the Sycamore Canyon trail system.

Have a good ride,
Jeff
