Hey guy's in case you have not done this ride...it is "long"! I will say that by the time I got to about 30 mins from completing "The Plunge" July/05 the balls of my feet were sore! I have NEVER-EVER expierenced that in 18 plus years of riding mountain bikes. I think it was the combo of my "Egg Beaters" & not wearing my Sidis. I wore a ankle high Specialized shoe & I think the sole might have been fatigued. And that was on my Ellsworth with 6 inches of Travel! embarassed Ya think it would have soaked up the trail..but standing on the pedals for that long of a downhill will get to your feet....wear good shoes! heh-heh I'm jealous!. ..ride safe!

Dan prolly has it on GPS, but a SS and two LS "wicking" shirts under a windbreaker was too hot right off the bat for climbing.  For the DH it was fine.  I think it was much warmer than expectd up top.

If I had to guess....a dry 40 at top and 80's at the bottom.

The top felt warm once you started to pedal.

Its on the gottadoitagain List
