Bouquet Canyon Jumps Ride 7:30 AM

From the intersection of Bouquet Canyon Rd & Vasquez Canyon Road drive up Bouquet Canyon Rd for approx. 4.3 miles (1.5 miles beyond the ranger station.) Look for a fire road on the slope to your right (east). Park at the pull out and cross the road to begin the climb up Forest route N607 (not marked.) The Trailhead is at N34.52 / W 118.442. 

 The initial climb up N607 is along the West facing slope of the Serra Pelona Ridge. There are some short, rocky and washed out areas and the climb is steady. At the ridge bear left on the road following up the ridgeline. At 4.5 miles you have climbed about 1,480 feet and arrive in a saddle with a single track on the left. The single track has some whoop-DE-doos and with speed you will get some frequent flier points. The single-track ends at Bouquet Canyon road a couple miles up canyon from your car for an easy cruise back.
