Is Near Deer a Pretty Cool Trail?  If we do that (climb the ST)  and come down 5 Deer I will be finished for the day.  I'd be happy to shuttle six people upto that point, so no one would have to come back for the cars. And that mite be more fun/ST than just climbing up to 5deer and running the ridge to the JumpTrail. Is it all DH from 5Deer to the jump trail? And mostly fire road?
Not looking to have a big ride in all this heat.  JT plus extra credit, we could turn around and head DH whenever we get hot, but 5Deer has more bang for the buck.

Im up for anything.  But yes...I agree on NOT a big ride because of the heat.  I will go ahead and schedule a 6:30 meet time at Jump Trail then we'll take it from there.

I wouldn't mind making a run out to the Santa Monica's, we could start at the top of Reseda, it's cooler out there so we could start at 8am to make up for the drive time.
