Pedaling Shuttle Ride

Monday Morning  Meet  @ SFR  by 0730

We will need to drop car/s at JPL 0800-ish    Drive up Angeles Crest to Clear Creek Station    Climb Switzers to Red Box to Eaton Saddle    Drop from Eaton To Inspiration Point    Ride the Merrills to Sunset -> Millard -> El Prieto to the Cars

 I'm down for Monday morning...Just rode Lower Rock Creek in Mammoth so San Fernando Rd. ain't goin to cut it! I'd hit up Mc Gill, Devil's Punch Bowl, Big Sycamore, etc. Just tell me when & where. occasion14

Sounds Like Monday Is the Plan...

I have a ride in Mind See the Topo Attached.

Ride Up from clear creek station/Switzers to Redbox -> RedBox Up to Eaton Saddle off of Mt Wilson -> Drop From Eaton Saddle to Inspiration Point -> Inspiration Point to Sam Merrill -> Middle Merrill to Sunset -> Sunset to Millard -> Finish It all out with El Prieto.

From Eaton Canyon It is Some of the Best ST around with all the options: Steeps, Technicles, Stairs, Smooth, Fast, Clean Trail, its all in there.

If time is an isuue or we are feeling to lazy we could Start at Eaton Saddle...

will it basically be the climb from switzers to redbox huh & then up pavement to wilson huh?..I have not ridden in weeks rolleyes BangHead but I could hang for that I'm sure shocked. I would most likely be spent cry by the time we climbed to wilson...but  laugh :sunny:I would have enough energy to end up at the bottom of El Prieto! grin

Exactly...Climb Switzer to Red Box pavement to Eaton Saddle (well below Mt Wilson)...Then its Down from there...Still Pedlin to do but not a whole lotta climbing

The Good thing about this one is that there is good tree cover most of the way...so heat wont be that big of a problem.

And I dont mind taking Breaks here and there.

So from thru the tunnel to single track...to inspiration....to mt lowe ...climb from lowe to singletrack down to millard...then up to el prieto...THAT WOULD BE EVEN MORE SWEET!...I have climbed to Wilson on the mt.lowe road at least 10 times...the ride from the tunnel to inspiration is fun & then from inspiration to lowe is sweet..BUT from lowe to millard is a GREAT section...I know I am just dreaming out lowd...& that was waaay back b-4 suspension anything! Now U have an idea how old I am! heh-heh laugh laugh uglystupid2 embarassed rolleyes cool

Actually if i had been riding I could probably have the endurance to pull that off! cry cry

I can Fit 8 Bikes.
4 on the bed...4 on the bumper rack.

 I only have two cross bars for bike with no clearance on the tt for a rack.

We can sqeeze 6 peeps (p e o p l e) in my truck but it'll have to be friendly.

Need at least 1 more driver to drive me to my up to my truck...Any takers...3 cars would be best but we can make it work.

So Far we have 6:  Scottay, Jose, Jose S, Chris, Rodney, and Me
