how was the pig farm loop?was it overgrown?rodger @newhall bikes wants to do it on wed the 17th@6pm should i go do some trail maint?

  Well i ran it backwards, singletrack climb.  when you first cross the creek to the farm the trail disapears, but its obvious where to go ( if youve been there).  The swampy section has tall grass laying over the trail, so you fall into some unseen holes, and there are a coupla transitions that dissappear.   so a gas weedwacker would help, or a fourstroke thumper.  back into the canyon there are a coupla low branches  and big rocks kicked into the trail.  nothing you cant deal with. I only went as far as the  steep DH section, i hiked up that and came back the same way.  Dan did the other section, i think some of the other DH sections may have had a lot of grass on them too, I think thats the "excuse" Dan used!! lol

Yeah, a few sections with some tall grass that covers the trail.  You can definitely see where to go, you just cant see the ruts, bumps and rocks under it.  The steepest DH was growing over as well.  But its all ridable, it all just adds some surprises into the mix.
Still a great trail.  Maybe if some moto's hit the trail it would clear it out.
