XTERRA tentative date for the Castaic Big BLue Tri (Point Series)
for Aprill 30th.
Its so close to home there is no excuse not to give it a Try at this event.

Just go for the fun of it...its all about finishing, not winning!!!

Have you thought about the Adventure Race on the 29th?  I'm planning on doing it and was looking for others who might be interested.  I thought about the Tri, but it sounds too structured.  Plus, I can probably paddle better than I can swim (I've never paddled before).  At least while paddling I have a boat and a lifejacket to help prevent my lungs and the water from becoming too closely acquainted.

I haven't done the Adventure Race thing B4 but a friend of mine has and he loves them.
I'll let him know if you need teamates for the race, he is a local as well.

But think about the Tri tho.  My first was last year and I learned how to breath and swim at the same time just weeks b4 my first tri... a 1500m swim!!!  And the Xterra's are great fun. 

I'm going to do the BBORT, Temecula, and the Moab Steelbender(if they ever figr out the dates)...guess I better get running again then...awe
