I rode Viper last Saturday.  I knew it was bulldozed, but wanted to see firsthand what it was like.  What was once a singletrack is now a 30-ft wide soft and beat up firebreak.  It's a shame, but the trail is technically a firebreak, and, there was a rather large fire just on the other side of the hill.  Anyway, it was bulldozed all the way down to the barbed wire fence.  I took some pics and and have attached them here.  Do not ride it -- it's not worth the 4mi climb.  I'd rather go down Los Pinetos or bomb back down the fireroad or the halfway singletrack.

I say "ride it!"

The more its ridden, the faster it turns into a trail again!
