OV
Yeah If my day looks open we can almost double to the ride if we want by continuing towards 5 deer and take another ST back to the Jumps Trail.
I'll have to wait and see though.

Hey I'm in. I'll go longer with ov up to the short cut drop in to Rowher Ridge Trail. It adds about 45 minsto an hour or so. I have to open the doors at work at 10 so it would work perfect for me.

The last time I did 5 Deer... Rowher Ridge sounds like a better option.
5 Deer after the last rain, I am certain it is worse than it was the last time we rode.

Rowhere Ridge with the exception of the drop in was in good shape.

I am not arguing with you on 5 Deer.
It is a sweet trail, and Going down Fire Road does Suck.

The Last time we did 5 Deer, it was in pretty bad shape, all rutted and no real flow.  If it has gotten better Lemmeno.

The deal on Sierra Pelona Fire Road is getting a longer climb in and taking an off shoot ST back down to the JT.  I think that's what OV's looking for, a longer climb!!!

Hmmm.... Seems UR all confused...
last time I did 5 Deer I spent more time ducking and diving branches than enjoying the rocks and bumps.

You bought a long travel bike and don't want rocks....?

The Rowher cutoff puts you into the trail after the steep rocky section.  Sierra Pelona is half the drive of Five Deer, more ride less drive.  Five Deer is a great trail but you still do the majority of the ride on fire road since the trail drops you out halfway up the climb.  And all this really means I would rather do Sierra Pelona simply because it will let me make it back to work on time.

The official ride is?.......   Oh boy yippeee you just posted.... Peace to all!
